Hi,

Perhaps there are some folks on the Corvanatics list who are not on VV who
can help.

Thanks!

Hi folks,

I am pleased to report that I have had some success with finding original
Corvair batteries for my research project.

I am still in need, however, of a group 22F tar-top battery. This was the
standard Corvair battery for 1965 and 1966 (except FC). Besides being a tar
top, other identifying marks include push-in caps (no threads in cell
holes), raised lettering on the side of the battery (probably says "Delco
Original Equipment Line"), and probably includes the Delco part number
stamped on it somewhere: 555.

Again, used is fine. What I need are some pictures and dimensions.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm doing some research on original Corvair batteries, specifically for
1965-69.

If you have an original battery for a '65 - '69 Corvair in any condition,
please contact me off list so that I can ask you some questions about it.
Or, if you know someone who has one, please also contact me. I'm interested
in both standard and heavy duty models.

In addition to batteries, I am also interested in information on the special
battery caps for 1965-69 and late 1964. I have examples of the 1965-66
standard caps and the 1965-9 heavy duty caps but would love to get info on
the late 1964 standard caps and the 1967-69 standard caps.

Thanks,

--Kent
