[FC] ATTN VENDORS: FC Vent Window Assemblies

I find this an interesting discussion because I have NOS vent window assemblies for the cars. What do you folks believe would be a fair price to sell them at? If it takes 10 hours plus materials to rebuild a pair, what would you pay for rebuilt ones?

  Amen Joel,

I've done my '65 and still have the '62 to go. Hate the job. I would propose to the vendors that if they do this, do it right. Make it concours quality. I gave up recently and bought a rebuilt Spyder speedometer for the '65 after several tries at repairing my old one. It was a mixed bag. Although it works perfectly (the main idea) in appearance, it is junk. All of the numbers are peeling off the odometer wheels, and the face is faded, scratched, and even the mounting hardware to the case was missing. Really disappointing for the price. So, vendors, if you do it - DO IT RIGHT!

Just some food for thought for the vendors.

I just spent almost 10 hours redoing all the seals on the driver's side vent
window assembly on my FC. Now I realize it was my first time doing this,
and there is always a learning curve. But Shawn and Mike have done both of
their FC's already, and advised me ahead of time that it would be a S.O.B.
of a job, and Mike was around the shop workin' on the Westbrier while I was
working so I at least had somebody that had already done it once to ask
  questions of.

As much as I enjoy the sense of satisfaction that comes from tackling a
project on my 'vairs, this is one that even I might have considered buying a
completed assembly if they were available with a core exchange... vendors,
  you listening?

  Regards,
  Joel
