[FC] rampy motor

I have seen back up lights installed on some FC's that were done by the dealerships back when the vehicles were new. There is no reason that a FC couldn't have back up lights, except that GM choose to be cheap with accessories on the FC. Chevrolet did offer a back up light kit for trucks and Suburban's and these were probably used by the dealerships service department. Paul in CT

Why would a rampy have a backup light switch?

Hmm, manual chokes are correct for '61 only, backup switch should be in
the trans, and a four speed was also available. I don't know the codes
offhand, but if it has the filler/dipstick then it's probably the
correct engine. What makes you think it's out of a car?
