[FC] Torsion Spring - cont'd

Fellow FC'ers:

Some time ago, I posted a note asking for help in replacing the torsion spring on the FC ramp safety latch. Mine has broken in two places and no longer places positive pressure on the safety latch.

Keith Hammett suggested the www.mcmaster.com website. That site is great, but I need help in determining the exact spring that I need.

Has anyone replaced the torsion spring? Have others failed (maybe I should be looking for a used safety latch)?

Any help in identifying a source would be great. Thanks
