I am sure the campground you ran across on the internet being "near an
amusement park" Would be Darien Lake. The amusement park there is one of the
Six Flags chain. I would not recommend staying at that park unless you
intend on spending all of your time at Darien Lake.

The amusement park next to the KOA on Grand Island is Martins Fantasy
Island. A bit of an "older" amusement park, but I have gone there for a car
show over the last two years, and remember going there when I was a kid.
Fantasy Islands good point is that you will not wait an hour in line for a
ride. At Darien Lake, that is normal. I liked taking my grandkids To Fantasy
Island, Darien Lake would kill me.............

There is an entrance directly into Fantasy Island from the KOA.

Grand Island is a 75cent toll going onto the island.
Buffalo is a 75 cent toll entering the city.

Gary Swiatowy
lives in the area.............
