Hello Everyone,

Just returning from the Myrtle Beach Corvair Show this weekend. Another great event as always, weather just fantastic.

Anyhow, I'm taking four days off to get my 61 ramp back on the road after a fire and if time permits, a little care to a 67 convertible. During the repairs I'm taking a donor 64 van and replacing the front suspension, tank, shifter and etc and placing it under the front of the 61 ramp.

I don't recall any issues or warning concerning the conversion. Is there anything that I should look out for or any serious mods needed. Any extra thoughts involved. What is the current rule of thumb for lowering the front end just a tad bit. I did purchase the ADDCO swaybars the other day for the front and rear, apparently a large number of folks made the purchase. Their stock went from we have several to we will make another run.

Thanks for your comments

Hope to have the ramp ready for the Helen show.

I'll also be getting some pictures of the mini/shorty rampside project I'll be selling. It's more of a shortened loadside as the ramp area was removed and the engine area has been refabricated and attached to the back of the cab.
