For any corvair fans interested in using aircraft ducting, I offer the following endorsement. The stuff is incredibly durable, never dries out and can be repaired with silicone caulk. In aircraft installations it is designed for carburetor air and hot air for heating and defrosting, has been around for years and is milspec and FAA approved. It is generally orange in color. It can be seen at your local airport FBO (the guys who fix and fuel airplanes). Grease, oil and fuel will not affect it. It comes in any diameter you may need. Any aircraft parts house carries it. As noted earlier, aircraftspruce.com is a good source-ph-1-877-4spruce.
