[FC] Greenbrier deluxe in CA SF Bay Area

I looked at what is billed as a '61 greenbrier last night. The seller has  it 
for $500, and he picked it up free a few months ago. He has to get rid of it, 
 as they are selling the house he's in now. I would hate to see it go to the  
scrapyard. It's in pretty decent shape with just a few rust spots on the 
lower  front doors, and no dents anywhere. However, the top is rusted through near 
the  gutter for about 5' on the drivers side. The motor is a late model with 
the mag  fan and an alternator. The engine door has the inset license plate 
spot, which I  think means it's a '64 or '65? The interior is good, all the 
panels are there  and none are ripped. It was originally a blue/turquoise color 
oxidized), and the  interior panels are that same color. The front seat is good, 
and is original. It  isn't running at the moment, it needs plugs and a 
battery, and maybe the engine  wiring harness finished (he bought a new one). There 
is a lot of oil in the  engine compartment, I don't know if it's from a bad 
fan bearing or if it  happened when someone tried to turn it over with the 
sparkplugs removed; the  motor turns freely by hand. It is also missing the keys, 
some external door  handles, the mirrors, and the powerglide shift lever. Other 
than the rust  through on the top, it's in very good shape. I would take it, 
but we're out of  room for new projects! I posted this here thinking that 
maybe someone would want  to take on a project for cheap.
