[FC] tire size

I have the 205/75-14s on my 64 Brier which is daily driven to/from my day job (35 Miles RT) and 4 days a week delivering pizzas (20-100 miles/Day). I looked at the 225/70s, but they just "seemed" too big. The 205s, when mounted on a FC wheel and stood next to a 7.00x14 original spare that I had, were the same height and about the same width (body, not tread). When mounted on the truck, the measurement from ground to hub was very close (I cant recall the number right now)

My speedo is off by approximately 3 MPH (if it says 40, Im going 37 according to the radar sets that pop up around the various suburbs)

The 205s can be hard to find in WSW though, I've only located them at Wally-World in the bottom end Douglas xtra-trac line and SR4 line at Discount Tire. I will say that the Douglas ones hold up better than the SR4s. 17k miles on a set of Douglas in the last 14 months and they are still looking good. The SR4s were shot at similar mileage, although they were "moved" between the brier and my 67 4door due to in or out of service situations.

  Hope this helps,

The next step in getting the rampy on the road is to buy a battery and tires. The battery is easy just get a 51R, but the tires?
The rampside came with aluminum wheels and P205 75/14 tires, I have found that some here use the 225/70/14. What is the difference in these tires? What is the better to use in a dailly driver rampside?
