[FC] Bad Clutch Additional Info

  I am curious, I had the clutch linkage disconnected and had the return spring hooked directly to the clutch cable rear clevis. There is also a spring helping return the pedal at the front. The pedal would only come half way back up after being depressed. Is my cable bound up or do good cables still have that much resistance because of the curves in the cable routing? I don't see anywhere that the cable is pinched or bent.
