[FC] Braking News

Go down to your local auto parts store, and purchase a brass plug that 
screws into the master cylinder where the brake line goes.  Then try the 
pedal.  It should be rock hard.  If it isn't, then it is the master cylinder 
bypassing internally.  If it is rock hard, then disconnect the rear line 
from the block, and try that half of the system.  If everything is good, 
then disconect the front half and try the brakes in the rear.  You should be 
able to find the problem using this method.  My personal guess is that the 
linings are too far away from the drum face and need to be adjusted.  .
