get a man good with a torch. i had to do that same bolt on a 65 FC 4 spd case. no damage to the case , and threads almost did not even need a chase tap! i also did the same procedure on a WB block with a broken tap where someone tried to get a broken top stud out. no damage to the block , except where they were a touch off with the drill. regards, tim colson
