Thanks for the responses...It all makes sense once you have the answer.  

Is that why we'll never understand women?  Not even sure what the question
is most of the time.

I have been signed up here for a little while now but I have to plead
ignorance to what "FLAPS" means. I have a feeling once I know what it stands
for I will feel stupid but can someone tell me what it is?

Congrats on finding the culprit - the nice thing about Corvairs is they are
Chevys :-)  I'd try your FLAPS or your favorite Corvair vendor.  Shouldn't
be terribly expensive or hard to find.
