[FC] Jumpy throttle...

2 or 3 things i have found causing jumpy response.
one is the felt seal under the gas pedal where shaft exits gets sticky in  
it's flange, or the shaft sticks to it..silicone helps.. it has to be very  
free.
another is lube of the cable under the splash shield at pedal end under  
floor.
another is just plain worn linkage somewhere at carbs , or shaft in  
general. you need to look carefully while manually moving it from the point  where 
the cable attaches. look for ANYTHING that is not moving at the same rate,  
the links at each carb  (both ends), throttle shafts , is cable too loose  
in the adjustable threaded shaft?  any play anywhere is a problem.
then resyncronize the carbs mechanically.
this same procedure applies to cars...
