Hi Bill et al!

I would love a couple of pics of your way cool hinge!

I mounted my hinge in the GB so it tips to the front, then I discovered that 
it does not quite clear the spare tire.

Rod: The 10 bolts in the panel are all short dummy bolts w/the exception of
the 2 outside rear, which are thumb screws to hold the panel down tight
when closed. the hinges are forward w/the  mounting to the outside flat
areas on the panel and the panel covering the trans axel  and tranny.  Also
installed prop rod to hold the panel after removal of the thumb screws.
Found the prop rod at the local junk yard for 3.00. Hope this info helps.

Hi gary,

My father-in-law, and corvanatics member, bill wallace (cc'ed) just
restored his 61 rampy and did the hinged decklid setup w piano arm.

Bill, can u reply to this and update gary on your hinge setup? I'll go thru
your pix and see if I have something for him too.
