I have had some interest in the one wire alt conversion I had done to my rampy with its 1966 140 motor. Here is the part that the mechanic installed: it is a TRA-D7014 10DN12VR " from George J Hust Co.  I note that this install works and my Rampy is happily generating some good 12 volt juice. This investemtn coems after 6 months of trying ( and faILING) to make the conversion work that is in the tech guide. Good luck!Tim W '61 Rampy 140 4 spd
