[FC] 61 FC Transmission Linkage comments

I remember putting the added pin on the shift lever with epoxy because of  
the ball on the end of stock lever being a loose fit on the shaft. That 
shift  kit on a late FC shifter is just plain awsome to drive. If I did it again 
, I  would probably weld it. that was many years ago , It is now a 
powerglide with  very short stock throw...
I needed the short throw because of extra 2 way  radio equipment  hanging 
on the radio pod being hard on knuckles at times.
