[FC] about the Power Glide shifter

It looks like when I zoom in on the saved image on your Spyder if has a chrome surround. I don't know if it is the same on an FC. Is the pattern on the Spyder the same as on the FC with R on top and L on the bottom? The part I bought on ebay seems the opposite from the pix but until I get it I don't know. I have the shop manual for the FC but it does not show the detail I am looking for. Clark's has surrounds with the shift pattern cut into them but like your Spyder, the FC has a window with a line that moves up and down on the pattern on the shift mechanism. I just wonder how that changed by model and by year.

Thanks again for the pix and sorry about the snow. I won't tell you what it is like here in San Diego right now, but I used to live in Chicago so understand snow all too well.

Best,

If it was not for the "blizzard" we have going on here , I have at least one spare , and the assembly manual out in my shop. right now the snow is @2ft deep on my short walkway , and fills in as soon as you walk thru it.
IF you still need it tomorrow , let me know.
here is a dash picture:

This is the best picture I can find right now. The indicator window is 1/4 in square in a spyder dash face. Stock is larger.

Can someone take a picture and post it for Fred? Or scan a document that
shows the PG versioon on an FC? I'd like to know, too.
