[FC] Original fuel pump

Me thinks he might be confused with a modern car where the fuel pump is in the tank.

As was already mentioned the mechanical fuel pump is in the engine compartment. As far as sealing the fuel tank, is it leaking? New ones are or were available.

I'm looking for an original fuel pump for a 64 GB. More specifically, I
was going to mount a new electric pump outside the tank but need to seal
the tank. Is there an easier way to do that? I figured I'd use the float on
the old pump and the new pump to actually move the fuel. I'll take any
suggestions!

Thanks guys,
Brad
