I read somewhere that Ed died and his son is going to sell all the Corvairs. Also from what I hear there are very few good ones. Mostly rusty Michigan cars.

Does anyone (local MI area) remember the collection of 25 or so Corvairs that were located in Shelby Township, N. of Detroit? There was an ad in the Communique at the time. I think the gentleman's last name was McFarland. I went out and visited him and he told me that he started buying Corvairs in the early '70s and storing them on his property. He actually built a barn with a hill in the back so that he could drive them up to the second floor. I've been thinking about buying a wagon lately and I remember that he had several of them. If he's still around and anybody has his contact info that would be appreciated.
