My 1961 Rampie also has in it a Buick Rivera steering column assembly. The turn signal cancel works terribly but other than that it is fine. They left the "R" horn button on since Riviera and Rampie...........................are "R"

When attending this years Concours in Cincinnati, I noted a 1953 Buick Woody station wagon. For display they had lowered the tailgate and raised the rear window. The item that caught my eye was the wooden tailgate latch. It appeared to be the same part as is used on the tailgate and ramp of my '61 Rampside. Anyone know if these are shared parts?Tim Werner '61 rampy 140 4 spd.

Only the latches on the ramp of the Rampside are unique. GM used the tail gate latches in several other applications.
