Start thinking "antique". The more rare and less of them there are, the more valuable. There are millions of mustangs and camaros and there were a little over 17,000 Rampies ever made. I collect and have one. I also have a Porsche 356 and a Porsche 912 Targa soft top. There were about 62,000 356's made from 1951 to 1965 and the one I picked up in boxes and put back together for $7,000 is now $110,000. The Targa I picked up for $20,000 and one just sold like mine after restoration for around $80,000. The best part of these antiques is that they are fun to drive and fun to show. The Corvair clubs don't get it. Show them at all Chevy shows and air cooled shows and watch the value rise on the most innovative vehicles of the early 1960's.

Is the dog-gone thing made of gold???? My Rampside shows very, very well for a driver. I guess I will have to hold on to it for some time. That price is just crazy!!
