[FC] Wheel spacers

Hello All,
I have a set of AL wheels I want to use on my Rampside.I need a wee bit more setback. 1/2" more would do the trick.
My question is has anyone used wheel spacers?I would prefer the kind that you bolt to the wheel and then bolt the wheel  to the spacer.The thinnest one of those I have found are over an inch thick. 
That leaves me with a spacer and replacing the studs with longer ones.
Yes? No? Maybe???
