Hi
I saw the Northern Viginia Corvair Club web page and was wondering if you
knew anyone interested in a couple of engines and parts I have. There are two
engines a 37K mile '65 110 and a '66 140 high mileage model. The 110 ran in
'89 when it was purchased. The engines are complete, steam cleaned, stored in
doors, with all sheet metal, carbs, linkages, exhaust, and the rear harness from
the '65. I also have all the heater hardware, etc., but not the
transmissions. The 110 is from an automatic, the 140 I'm not sure of.
Along with that collection is a '64 Spyder gauge cluster, a complete owners
manual/dealer package, factory manuals, and the HP books how to hotrod and
keep your corvair alive. All this is stored in my shop in Rockville Maryland.
At one time I was planning on building a 140 powered VW Karmann Ghia. I
would sell the entire lot for 500$ to anyone who could use it and haul it away.
