[NoVa-Corvairs] Frozen Engine

Curt, I am sorry I have not continued to attend meetings. The last time we
were together was probably the Christmas party in '02. Funny you would ask
about my daughter's car, as it is not running right now. The flatbed just
picked it up 1/2 hour ago. It is on the way to a mechanic because the
starting circuit is just dead. I dropped the starter/solenoid on the weekend
and took it to a local Advance Auto, and it ran just fine on the bench.
Dismayed, I reinstalled it with a new battery and -- still dead. So, off to
the shop.

Catherine reluctantly (but I think wisely) left the car at home all this
school year while she was at UVA. She is returning home on Thursday, and
can't wait to begin driving it again. So, since it has been sitting most of
the year, I guess it just needs some attention, and a lot of the electrical
stuff is beyond my abilities. She came home briefly just last weekend to
scrub it, wax it, and generally pamper it, so I promised I would have it
ready and running for her.

Oh, well, the saga continues, as you well know. I hope you are well, too.
When Catherine is home, perhaps we will be fortunate to attend a meeting and
see you there.
