Daniel-
I'm pretty sure I could use some kind of all-purpose cable but I don't think
it will attach to the stock pull knob under the dash. I was hoping to keep
it looking like stock.

Please educate me: why can't one use an all-purpose flexible throttle cable,
like what's found in the "Help" section, and route it from the cockpit to
the engine compartment?
Also: At the meeting at my house I will have many parts to sell to you
cheeeeeep! Parts include cylinder head cores, a late trunk lid, engine
shrouds, maybe a starter. I'm agressively looking to buy a place to live,
but market realities dictate that I can only look at condos. Hence, I will
have no garage in which to store tons o' stuff.
