[NoVa-Corvairs] Battery, Wheels, Gas Tank Sending Unit Tool

Hi All-
I just called the Corvair Ranch about getting a set of 13" wheels. They do
have them, although they say they're getting harder to find. They want
$30/each for them. And they would need to be sand blasted of surface rust
and old paint.
I was hoping they wouldn't be quite that much. I'll probably just go ahead
and use my wheels and hope the original tires don't fall apart when they're
de-mounted. It sounds like they might have some value to someone.
Thanks.
-Mike

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear it runs again! It's worth noting that 13" tires are
getting few and far between, you might consider 14" wheels depending on
what style wheel cover you want. Otherwise, I'd just call the Corvair
Ranch and ask them how much for a good set of '61 wheels (you'll need
the correct year if you have full wheel covers, I think).
