Daniel, Could it be your wheel bearings? This is from Clarks tech tips: "If possible roll the car down a hill with the engine off in neutral. This will let you isolate the noise to wheel bearings or axle and probably not your trans or engine". (Clarks Corvair Tech Tips) Hope this helps Ron
