Yep, I run synthetics.  On the red car it dropped the temp about 10 
degrees and the pressure went up a couple pounds.  Having said that, 
your application is the most lightly loaded setup and the early fan 
blows more air.  I think it's a good idea, but you shouldn't consider 
it mandatory by any means.
