[NoVa-Corvairs] Spring Carlisle

Hey Greg,

Not to sound too sheltered, but what is Spring Carlisle?   I understand it 
is a car show/swap meet at Carlisle, but is there a special attraction for 
the Corvair oriented?   Will you be selling parts or just buying (assuming 
just looking is out of the question)?

We did get a chance to look over the car that your acquaintence is 
considering buying for $6k.   It is mechanically excellent...drove like a 
new Corvair (or so I am guessing)...purred like a sewing 
maching...excellent steering/ride/brakes, etc.

All of the interior, chrome and details are in second rate 
condition...this is a perfect driver car.   Paint is shiny with a few 
bubbles coming up...again...an excellent driver.

Rust has eaten into the battery box and the front crossmember (the only 
big red flag) and has started in on the structure a bit in front of the 
driver's side rear  wheel, but nothing that could cause problems like a 
crossmember might.

Really drove nice.   The color is very nice and it is an attractive car.

[NoVa-Corvairs] Spring Carlisle






Hey, Gang!  This Wednesday through Sunday is Spring Carlisle.  I will be 
going up Thursday for the day if anyone would like to go.  I'll be getting 
up at my regular 5:30 and plan on leave by 6:30, and can meet anyone at my 
house or along the way.  Possible meeting places can be Darrin's or Mike 
Puglisi's parents (which are right off the beltway/270).  Let me know if 
you are interested or if you need me to pick anything up for you.  Greg
