[NoVa-Corvairs] Corvair Parts

Greg & Virginia and NoVA/Group CC members:

I stopped at Frank Demasio's home on Friday, 4/27.  As you will
note from Ron's e-mail of 4/23, Frank has some Corvair cars and
parts that he would like to sell to a club member or Corvair owner.
he is retiring from rebuilding cars and moving to a new home in NC.

Here is a very general description of what he would like to dispose of:

1.  63 Monza Coupe, PG, - will run, but needs body work/paint (typical
of the rust problems);  Floors and trunk need repair; Interior is well  
used - he has owned the car for 25 years.  No price - open to offers.

2.  62 Monza Convertible, PG, - too much rust to rebuild, but lots of
parts, including gas tank (Greg)

3.  60 Vair Coupe, PG - too much rust to rebuild, lots of parts, including
another gas tank (Greg)

4.  Engine parts, powerglide, etc stored outside

5.  Approx. 6 cardboard Boxes of spare parts; alternators, generators,  
etc. stored inside and dry. Condition used, but serviceable.  (He didn't  
have and inventory, but if asked, he may know if he has the part you
need. )

6.  Spare hood, doors - I did not examine them.

He will sell any of the above separately or altogether, if you have
room.  He is willing to listen to offers.   

His home is located approximately 3/4 miles west of Highway 301, south
of Waldorf (actually in White Plains).  Turn west on Hwy 227 Marshall Rd,
(look for Shell Gas Station at 301 and Marshall) then at first road, turn left
onto Oak, then right at Dogwood.  His address is

Al:  Greetings!  Frank D. had a junk '60 sitting in the mud, if it is still
there when you go, any chance of seeing if the gas tank is any good?

Thursday evening I was contacted by Frank Demasio from White Plains,  MD.
He
is selling his property and needs to get rid of his collection  of Corvair
parts.  If any of you are interested please give him a  call at (301)
934-7994.
His only chance to unload the parts will be this  weekend and next.
Otherwise,
everything may get scrapped.
