[NoVa-Corvairs] Does anyone need anything from the Corvair Ranch?

Hey Daniel,

As long as you are going....can you pick up a pair of engine top cover
gaskets for me...I have to change the blower bearing and will need to,
obviously, pull the top cover. I will use a topcover with a good bearing
that I have on hand.

I have registered and have been driving the 61 and it is lots of fun...the
visibility out the rear of the car is eerie and seems like an optical
illusion at first. For the record, I did try greasing the existing blower
bearing...but it is already noisy and is stretching out my new Clark's
wrapped fan belt....not that I think about it, please pick up a fan belt
for me as well (Gates, top cog...whatever Jeff stocks).

Did I mention the faulty steering box worm shaft to steering wheel shaft
coupler in my article...this is the latest fix completed on the 61'...fix
that sort of thing and you lose LOTS of slop in the steering!

Thanks,

Darrin

Trust me, I'm trying to think of a really heavy, bulky part you could
pick up. Really.

In case you hadn't thought of it, maybe get that spiffy exhaust coated
with Jet-Hot or the like? It's supposed to keep it nice looking.
Looking forward to hearing the sound.
