Good to hear from you and to see how "well" you are adapting to Army Life!

First off, you didn't fire a "gun", you shot a pistol. The only guns in the Army are in the field artillery, where they have guns and howitzers, the difference being in their trajectories. 

There are rifles, pistols and machine guns.  

Starting a HUMVEE, wow, that must have been a treat!  

Take you PT score and go to Airborne School. Air assault is for wimps!. 

Don't fret about Fort Sill. It won't be as bad as you think. Each Army post is a cross section of America. I put in the HAM that you were going to Sill, so everybody knows.
