This email is a little late. I tried to send one right after the
meeting, but I just realized it never got delivered.
I wanted to tell everyone that the car is running much better now. The
timing adjustment made a big difference. Also, I haven't had any
problems with my battery since the meeting. 2 for 2. Thanks to
everyone who helped.
There's been an unfortunate development (or non-development) concerning
those pictures my wife took of the group. Our friends at Target screwed
up the film processing (yes, we're the last people on earth without a
digital camera) and those pictures got lost. Target developed only the
first 18 or the 24 shots on the roll. When my wife complained they lied
and said the last 6 shots were over exposed so they didn't develop them.
We know they're BS-ing us because the negatives had one of the missing
shots (not one of our group though). They never admitted they screwed
up and only reluctantly refunded our money for the processing. Needless
to say, that will be the last roll we bring to them. We're feeling
really bad about losing those pictures since that was L.D. and Daniel's
last meeting with us (at least for the foreseeable future).
Lastly, Daniel - I understand you decided to keep your chemicals,
paints, etc. in your Vair while its stored. You must have either
changed your mind or forgotten because you left the box at my place.
I'll hold on to it until you can get it, whether that's now, next Spring
when/if you come for the Vair Fair, or whenever you want. Just let me
know.
