[NoVa-Corvairs] preregistration update

Darrin,

I just registered Saturday and as far as I know, only Curt and I have registered from our chapter. That should make 11 because when I talked to Ann Hayes last Friday she said there were 10 registrations for the event.  Let's hope for a surge this week.  I stopped by the hotel and dropped off t-shirts, but she was not in.  I'm waiting on a call from her now.  I plan to ask for a registration deadline through the weekend until the 16th.  I will also ask that they honor $99.00 rate for the event after the deadline. All she can say is no or go to hell. The regular room rate is $119.00 if there are rooms available.  They mentioned there were weddings in town that weekend, so we will have to wait and see how registrations go this week.   I'll keep you all posted.
