Hi Curt,
the puller ring is supposed to be installed with the bearing on an
early axle. I suppose sometimes they aren't, as I often see that
caveat to removing an early axle bearing. I have most of the early
shop manuals, I'll try to find a photo and we can check the axles,
but with a half dozen or so available, I think we're in good shape.
On the Tech Sessions overall, the schedule sounds good, I'm fine with
the afternoon. Curt, I realize you're very busy, but if you'd like
to give your presentation on oil, I'm sure it would be very well
received, I think we could consider a third session. Again, if some
folks have to decide between events, so be it.
