Members:

First make a note that Oren's trailer slot is #47.  It is in the lower
left side of the trailer park.

I talked to Oren Rose last night.  He had more details about his
brother's last attempts to start the car.

Two bent push rods were replaced but the rockers were never fully
adjusted so if the car does get started they may need immediate
attention.  When Oren's brother tried to start the car after he put in
the new push rods he could not get any gas to the carburetors which had
been rebuilt.  He then installed a new fuel pump but still could not get
fuel to the carbs.  From looking at the fuel pump I don't believe it is
the correct pump as it has an extra discharge port on it going nowhere. 
Anyway, if some one does have a used but good fuel pump maybe you can
bring it with you.  However, I would not try to suck gasoline out of the
tank for a number of reasons.  Maybe with a nipple and a rubber tube you
could suck gas out of a can.

Don't forget the car cannot move as the drums are frozen to the shoes.

Here is what Oren will have at the meeting:  a new battery, jack stands,
and a floor jack.  He will also soak the wheel lug nuts and studs in
Liquid Wrench a few times before the meeting.  I believe that someone
will need to bring a 4# sludge to bang on the brake drums and try to free
them up from the shoes.

Lastly, as I won't be there someone else should take over the
coordination with Oren.
