Hey, Darrin:  Many years ago, probably 20, I made myself my own tools to do a front end alignment using a booklet I purchased from one of the vendors with pretty good results.  You are welcome to borrow them.  The most important thing is to have the car on a very flat, i.e. level, surface.  One of the tools requires a regular level.  Let me know if you are interested.
