The goody bags you refer to are really registration packets. The contain a claendar of events, items of local interest, hotel information, schedules, items related to the events the individual entered, banquet ticket(s), raffle ticket, and any freebies we can get, i.e. rain bonnets from a local funeral home! They are usually put in a plastic bag scrounged from somewhere. Last time Lisa Cox provided bags from the US Postal Service.
