Guys,

Shouldn't we have a special Spyder class in the People's choice that also
gets plaques? May help attracting Spyders to the event if we play this
up a bit.

This would have to be added to the trophy order if you all agree.

[NoVa-Corvairs] Award Plaques

Guys:

I want to refresh my memory as to what we want. As I recall it was to be
30 medium sized plaques, about 8"x8" and if possible not square. The
last time I worked with a trophy place such items were about $10 ea
($300). I thought that we could separately get self adhesive bass
plates, say three separate plates and make up the awards as required.
For example: the largest plate would say, "28th Annual Vair Fair
                                                                 May, 2007
- Leesburg, VA"

Next we would name the event.  "People's Choice"; "Model Car Concours";
Funkhana"; Rally - Primary";
"Rally - Touring"; and Valve Cover Race"

Lastly, we would have small plates saying 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd
Place.

That way we could make up the needed awards after each event's results
were tabulated.

I know that Bryan suggested putting a photo of each winner's car on the
plaque and then covering it with something like clear plastic but I don't
know how to do that. I will inquire about getting plaques where a photo
could be slipped into the plaque and show through a clear cover.
