[NoVa-Corvairs] Early Model Engine Removal

Guys:

I did help remove an engine from a '62 yesterday.  It was easier than a
late model.  I guess that is because the early models were not as
sophisticated as the late models.  Someone, as usual, had worked on this
car before and replaced the 4 speed with an automatic.  When we got the
engine out and cleaned a bit the engine block code, AD, said it was from
a '69, 110 hp, manual.  I guess they did more than change the
transmission.

By the way, I will not be at the meeting on the 20th as I will be at the
3 day, Fall Affair Corvair event in Charlotte, NC.

A. J.  Did you get the signature card that I mailed you for our checking
