It has been a while, but locally I've had good luck with Arlington  
Armature.  I don't think you can really get a new one anymore, but  
rebuilts are fine.

Of course, the Corvair vendors are an excellent choice.

As for ignition, the easiest points replacement is the Pertronix  
unit.  I have some info on my site, autoxer.skiblack.com.
