Hi folks,
Since we had a beautiful day here yesterday, Trevor and I got a
little done on the '62 700 wagon's brakes. We are doing a complete
overhaul, new hoses, shoes, hardware, and cylinders. According to my
trusty shop manual, removing the rear wheel cylinders is just a
matter of taking off the return springs and shoes (done), removing
the top pivot (done), removing the hose (loose but still attached),
and then removing the cylinder.
The cylinder doesn't budge. Any clues? I have not removed the axle
since it's not in the steps. Thanks for any suggestions.
