All:

Received this via email. FYI.

If you think some of your fellow Corvair club owners would be interested, I'd be grateful if you could spread the word of this year's Orphan Car Tour to your fellow club members. Below is a short preliminary announcement; as soon as details have been finalized, I will send a flyer, a press release and a more complete calendar writeup.

Your help in spreading the word, would be much appreciated!

Sincerely,
Jon Battle
Publicity Coordinator
Orphan Car Tour

June 6 - 7 -- The 20th annual Orphan Car offers its participants a two-day event this year, in conjunction with the Chesapeake Region AACA's Spring Overnight Tour. The Orphan Tour, for owners of antique "orphan" (discontinued-make) cars, will set out on Saturday, June 6th from a point somewhere in the area north of Frederick, Md., and will end the day in Chambersburg, Pa. "Orphan" participants then have the option of joining the Chesapeake Region's tour (already in progress), on Sunday, which will visit the Swigart Museum in Huntingdon, Pa. Details are still being worked out; more information will appear on our website, www.orphancartour.org/ , when available. We welcome suggestions for interesting stops along the way, in the area between Frederick and Huntingdon.
Phone Jon Battle with suggestions or questions, at 703-392-6870, or e-mail TourDirector at orphancartour.org .
