Good morning AJ,

I agree in principle, however the software we are using is not very robust 
and we can't calculate the total.  If we had established a place to hold the 
total most users would have expected us to fill it in.  Letting a user type 
in a total doesn't help because we cannot verify it, nor can we pass it to 
PayPal.  All things being equal it made sense to leave it off.  This is one 
area where we knew we would get email no matter which way we went.
