My other car club, Straight Eights Chapter of LCCI, is having a cruise in on July 10, in conjunction (one day late) of Collector Car Appreciation Day.  I may be out of town that weekend, but if not, I'll be at Malibu.

‘COLLECTOR CAR APPRECIATION DAY’ 
CRUISE-IN JULY 10

Recently, the U.S. Senate passed S. Res. 513 – “A resolution designating July 9, 2010, as ‘Collector Car Appreciation Day’ and recognizing that the collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an important part of preserving the technological achievements and cultural heritage of the United States.”
Since July 9 is a Friday and we have chosen a Virginia location to commemorate this special day, the Straight Eights will be celebrating “Collector Car Appreciation Day” with an extra special CRUISE-IN on Saturday, July 10, Noon-3:00 pm, at Malibu Grill, 5715 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, VA, 703-379-0587.
You are not obligated to order lunch at the restaurant. You can just come and display your car. Cars will line up on the side of the restaurant by the patio.
The lunch menu at Malibu Grill is $18.05 per person and includes the buffet, soft drink, tax and tip (dessert not included). Seating is available on the patio or indoors, and the bar will also be open.

>From DC: Take 395 South, King Street Exit toward Falls Church. Take Columbia Pike toward Arlington. They are on the right-hand side.
>From Maryland: Take 495 South to Northern Virginia. Exit 46A (Route 50) toward Arlington. Take a Right on Route 7 toward Falls Church. Right on Columbia Pike toward Arlington.
