That rust will mostly polish out, but may be pitted a bit.

Is the paint original...from what I can see of the paint it looks pretty 
good.

Do you have any more pictures?

Enclosed are some pictures of the 1960 Corvair with 6500 Miles It is in 
not to good of shape No Rust but needs new interior. Headliner and seats. 
the front bumper is pitted and has a dent  The lady said that she would 
like to get $4500.00

FYI Corvair Ranch is having a open House on Sunday 5/22/11. I am planing
