I was just reading the article in Communique (it may have been two issues ago, I'm behind on it) about this topic and some of the tires out there being old and really not good to install and place in service.

Hi Ron,

You might want to see if they can tell you the country and date of manufacture.  There are a lot of old and/or made in China tires floating around out there.
