Good morning! As a follow-up to the auction, I went and there was a very poor showing for both the household furniture/stuff and Corvairs. Nice day, too many other garage/estate sales in competition. The '63 mentioned below, which was very solid (great battery box!), with a red interior, was sold for $700 or $725? The yellow/black '64 Spyder Convertible did not sell and is still available for the right price. The too-old to be an auctioneer started the bidding on this one for $10,000! I overheard offers of $1700, then $2000 - 2500. I was afraid with both cars on hidden rust/poor bodywork under the decent paint. The Spyder did not have any of the wheelwell or rocker panel trim which emphasized the poor bodywork. I met Harold and his wife, Barb, John Underwood's daughter, and she said there was also a few cars at a cottage in Southern Maryland which need to be sold. I just spoke with Harold and there are two EM coupes, one with A/C. One of them has the engine out, but its on the floor nearby. They also have a '61 Cadillac to sell. They are going to email me some photos. Let me know if anyone is interested, and I'll forward them directly. Enjoy! Greg
