> Meet at 11 am on Saturday, October 1 at the Howard Johnson's in Lexington where the Vair Fair will be based.  It is on Rt 11 at I-81 Exit # 195.  Leave out and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway portion of the proposed rally route.  Continue on south to the Peaks of Otter for lunch.  Driving time is about 1:30.  After lunch, drive back toward Lexington and do some sightseeing on the return to the hotel.  People staying the night could check in.  We could probably get the meeting room or have an impromptu meeting in the breakfast area to discuss anything not covered at lunch about the Vair Fair.  Optional that evening could be a night out at Hull's Drive-In for a movie at the countries only community owned drive-in theater.  Admission is $6.00 per person.  Tasty and reasonably priced food as well.
